“The Mudbrick cottages have been designed as just the sort of fairy-tale cottage one would want to happen upon if travelling to Waiheke Island on holiday. We have often done that while travelling ourselves, and it seems more difficult to find than it should be! When the opportunity came up to create some accommodation on the Mudbrick property, we decided to create a fantasy, fairy-tale cottage – full of character and old-world charm, with rustic touches and romance. We had a lot of fun creating a little get-away nestled on the hillside awaiting visits from people from all parts of the world.”

Our location is perfect for privacy and is delightfully rural, yet only a 3 minute drive from Waiheke’s main village, Oneroa.

The great part about staying at one of our cottages is that if you don’t want to go anywhere, you don’t have to; continental breakfast is included, you can wander along the path to two different styled restaurants, casual and rustic, or upmarket and refined.

We hope that after looking at the photo gallery you get the feeling that your stay at the fairy-tale cottages will be amazing. That was really the whole point of creating them, and it’s our latest extension of what we do here at Mudbrick: we create romantic, idyllic fantasy escapes and then provide something for you to do at them – eat, drink, relax, chat, gather loved ones, hop into your private spa pool, then spend the night in a location that rivals anywhere in the world.
