Mudbrick Vineyard is looking for a Weddings Coordinator to join the team in preparation for the busy summer ahead.
Mudbrick is a world-renowned luxury destination, offering a range of hospitality experiences through our two Restaurants and Rooftop bar, Cellar Door, Accommodation offerings, and Weddings. We produce award-winning wines and enjoy one of the most spectacular views in the World. Picture this – vineyards rolling down towards the sparkling Hauraki Gulf. In the distance Rangitoto and Auckland’s sky tower pierce the year-round sunsets.
Scope of the role:
Site Visits
-Conduct initial site visits for potential wedding couples. Show the couple the beautiful venue and discuss options for their booking.
Administration
-Perform administrative tasks for example taking phone calls and wedding enquiries via email and phone.
Rehearsal & Final Catch Up
-Wedding rehearsals and final catch ups, usually the day before the wedding, and completing the final Mudbrick run sheet and wedding file.
On the Day Ceremony & F+B Management
On the day of the wedding, excellent time management and people management skills are essential:
-Strong team leadership and time management skills, we have a strict timeline to keep to for weddings.
-Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with guests and staff.
Experience
-One year minimum in a similar role or relevant hospitality experience
For this role you must reside on Waiheke Island.
