The 2021 Mudbrick Matiatia displays aromas Christmas cake, vanilla pod, black cherry andfragrant spice. The palate is richly concentrated with black fruits of the forest and sweet gentle tannins. A balance of sweetness with slight acidity enhances the powerful fruit flavours. A subtle integration of toasty oak finishes with a long-focused finish. Extraordinary ageing potential.
